Exeter Proud sells veteran support signs to raise parade funds
Exeter Proud will be selling “We Support Our Veterans” banners and yard signs starting April 18. Proceeds will be donated to Exeter American Legion Post 833 to help defray the cost of the Exeter/West Pittston Memorial Day Parade and to demonstrate local support for veterans. Exeter residents and businesses are encouraged to display their support for veterans by purchasing and placing the signs and banners in their yards and businesses for the Memorial Day parade, Veterans Day and the Fourth of July. Yard signs measure 18 by 24 inches and will include metal stand. They may be purchased for $12 each. Banners, which measure 1 by 4 feet, will cost $50. Checks are preferred and should be made payable to Exeter Proud. The signs and banners can be purchased at the following Exeter merchants: Esposito’s Shoes, 1054 Wyoming Ave.; Carmen’s Flowers and Gift Shop, 1229 Wyoming Ave.; The Donut Connection, 1601 Wyoming Ave.; Sabatini’s Pizza, 1925 Wyoming Ave.; and American Grill, 1320 Wyoming Ave. Contact Ed Esposito at 570-655-2254 or Carmen Maurielle at 570-654-4361 with questions or for assistance with ordering.
