RECYCLING ITEMS *ACCEPTED*
- Aluminum cans – Rinsed Clean
- Plastic #1 #2 only – beverage/food bottles – Rinsed Clean
- Newspaper, Magazine, Junk Mail, & Office Paper – No shredded paper allowed.
- Cardboard – flatten and remove all Styrofoam. Separate cardboard from commingled.
RECYCLING ITEMS *NOT ACCEPTED*
- NO PIZZA BOXES – due to grease and residue.
- NO Styrofoam – Bubble Wrap, Packing Peanuts, Shredded Paper, Paper Towels/Dishes, Food, Animal Waste
- NO Appliances: Electronics, Wires, Light Bulbs, Batteries, Ceramics, Dishes, Pyrex, Mirrors, Window Glass
- NO Hazardous Material Containers: Needles – Syringes – Metal
- NO Plastics #3 #4 #5 #6 #7.
- NO Plastic Bags – recycle at local grocery store
YARD WASTE
- THURSDAYS – April 11 to November 21, 2024. No exceptions.
- Place grass clippings and shrubbery in open containers weighing no more than 30 pounds. DO NOT put in bags.
- Tree branches, limbs, trimmings, not to exceed 3’ length or 1.5” diameter – TIE & BUNDLE or will not be picked up
YARD WASTE ITEMS *NOT ACCEPTED*
- No full trees accepted
- No yard waste from landscaping companies
LEAVES
- THURSDAYS -Oct 24 to Dec 12, 2024.
- No collection on Thanksgiving 11/30/2024.
- Place leaves on tree lawn, sidewalks, or grass. Do not block sewer drains in street.
CHRISTMAS TREES – First 3 Thursdays in January: Jan. 4 – Jan. 11 – Jan. 18, 2024.
PICKUP EXCEPTIONS – Recyling collection will be on Tuesday, not Mondays on MLK Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, AND when Jan 1, July 4, Christmas Day, and Veterans’ Day fall on Mondays.
